Interesting new series coming from Image Comics. Apparently about a murderous maniac who "gets better" and what happens afterwards.

The basic summary that we're given:
"Fillmore Press was once Madder Red, a homicidal maniac and criminal overlord who terrorized the town of Bedlam for years. Then he got better. This is what happens next."
We open with a flashback to when Fillmore was still Madder Red, and has taken an entire concert theater hostage - including a children's field trip. Some cronies of his are holding off the police who. As it turns out though, virtually all the hostages are already dead, with only a young girl left alive. Amidst the ritualistic-looking gore and bodies, Madder Red is playing cards with her...

The girl is obviously scared, tears welling in her eyes. Madder Red "comforts" her by telling her that what she dreads, "that thing you're closing your eyes and praying to mommy to save you from?" There's nothing to fear, because he claims it's already happens (he says as he holds up a scalpel.
Then a Batman-esque figure comes crashing in through the skylight. Madder Red merely states, "Finally."

The hero leaps towards Madder Red and viciously punches him several times.

And that's all we get so far.
I'm certainly interested to see how Madder Red "gets better". Judging from the cover, it's going to be quite harrowing for himself.
(Also, my first post! Yay! Hope everything went right.)
